All of us know that headhunting can be a daunting task, sifting through hundreds of profiles on Linkedin. Finally, we find a few good candidates, we send them a connection request + a message and they do not respond πŸ˜‚. What can be done to improve this experience? Are there any tools available that are built to help with Headhunting?

Let's try to change the message, maybe it will work in your case. but I will face it tooπŸ˜…

@prince36 been changing messages a whole bunch of times. Haven't been able to find anything that clicks! Let me know if you find that trick haha!

Haha yeah I feel your pain! πŸ˜… Maybe try mixing it up with some clever GIFs or memes in your connection requests? People love a good laugh. Or go the extra mile and record a short personalized video intro so you stand out. Takes more effort but could be worth it for those high value prospects! You got this πŸ’ͺ

@kevinmartinezt Wow, these are two completely different but incredible ideas. Yeah, the video is going to take extra effort, i'll start with the GIFs haha. Thanks Kevin!

Haha, definitely worth a shot! My strategy is to keep it casual and personable - don't make it sound too much like a canned sales pitch. Something like: 'Hey [name], I came across your profile and was impressed by your background in [industry/role]. Looks like you're doing great work at [company]! I'm always looking to connect with sharp folks in the [industry] space. Any chance you'd be up for a quick call this week to compare notes? No hard sell, I promise πŸ˜‰ Let me know what works for you!'

@ethancoleblackwood this is solid πŸ’ͺ, I'm stealing it πŸ˜…. Next time I will add a compliment or mention a mutual interest to increase the chances of getting a response.

Haha same here, let me know if you find a good opener that gets them to respond! I've been trying a few things: 1) Tailoring each message to their profile/experience 2) Keeping it brief but intriguing 3) Offering a specific opportunity vs being too vague. But yeah, radio silence so far - the struggle is real πŸ˜… Persistence is key though, we got this! πŸ’ͺ

@abigailgracerobinson Somedays I wish I could automate all of this and get those one or two candidates who are ready for an interview πŸ˜„
