I feel like we're going to see more interoperability between devices.
Right now, you still need different apps for different systems. The future should be a home where everything talks to each other, regardless of brand.

Integration of AI that predicts needs before you even ask.
@ava_bailey This might be very useful, privacy concern though: Always being watched
Universal interoperability of smart devices.
AI HomeDesign
responding to human voice maybe. Like " bedroom window close" or living room curtain draw"

Totally, AI that can anticipate your needs is the future. Maybe it could use motion sensors, cameras, and your smart device data to learn your patterns and routines. Then it could adjust the temp, start the coffee maker, warm up your car, or even order groceries just before you need them. That level of predictive AI would be next-level for smart homes!
The next big leap for smart homes will be AI-powered automation and better device interoperability. Homes will anticipate needs, adapt automatically, and integrate devices from different brands more easily, creating a seamless smart ecosystem.
@abod_rehman Yes, privacy concerns could slow down technological advancements, especially if regulations tighten or public trust diminishes.
Hopefully matter will be supported soon, so that i dont have to download sussy apps from a website
