My strategy currently is to try and be more visible on the platform pre-launch. Engage in discussions, give product feedback and support your fellow Product Hunters. People are more likely to support you if they recognise you.

I think carving out some time every day to add to discussions (like I am now), connect with people on LinkedIn, and engage on recent launches are all great. We haven't launched yet thought so jury is still out on whether this helps!

What we have been doing is maintaining a sheet of people who we have supported so that we are able to reach out to them when they support us, I am also sharing that sheet with others as well so that they can also get the support they need as these are active PH users. We would be reaching out to these people specifically on the day of our launch as we have already supported them they would defiantly help us out.

Still figuring it out. But I guess bringing value to the community (answer ppls questions, share knowledge) helps getting engaged with the people around here. And it’s pretty easy to engage, as everyone is so kind!
