"How to take over the world" podcast, especially the podcasts about Caesar and Napoleon, inspired me a lot to aim bigger.
The Mitford Murders 😍
"Building a Second Brain"!!
A recent book that inspired me is Mr. Toad Goes to the Doctor. It follows Mr. Toad’s journey as he visits a therapist to better understand himself and confront his inner struggles. The story emphasizes the importance of self-reflection and mental well-being, teaching that certain emotions are normal and can be accepted. It inspired me to approach my own emotions with patience, to comfort myself more effectively, and to handle relationships with greater empathy. Overall, it’s a reminder to prioritize inner balance and self-compassion.
I loved "The Phoenix Project" and to a lesser extent "The Unicorn Project", great, entertaining books for anyone with an interest in building effective companies. I promise, it's not the usual MBA BS.
