It's a fascinating question in the real world. Content marketing is crucial, and everyone knows it! But there are two methods to build your content marketing campaign: 1. Build your own channel: You can showcase your product clearly, and everything depends on your ideas, but it's time-consuming. 2. Collaborate with KOLs: Requires some investment, but the ROI can be high (I've achieved an ROI > 5). The downside is that you can't control the content theme, and your usage will be limited. So, which one u will choose?

I recommend a bit of both. Working with KOL's can see an ROI faster, so you can put just a bit more energy into that while building your channel in the background.

@thegoodbadugly_ai That's what I am doing! Really works better than a single one!

Running your own channel provides valuable insights into your audience’s behavior and preferences. It helps you make informed decisions based on direct feedback

@luther_westover Yes, especially when you can connect with your audience through comments or Discord. It's important to understand exactly what they want.

Working with a KOL gives you a shortcut to a ready-made audience. Their followers trust them, so if they vouch for you, it’s like getting an automatic pass. This approach works great for brands that need quick visibility. On the other hand, starting your own channel is a slower journey but builds lasting impact. Think of it as growing your own garden; you’re in control, nurturing your own community. If you’re after quick exposure, a KOL partnership is the best way to go. But if you’re playing the long game, building your own channel is a strong investment.
