Hi Founders, I just wanted to share some tips with all new founders on how to achieve over 300 votes on Monday! I'll also cover some mistakes I made and provide solutions. First, let's talk about your goals. There are two main goals: 1. Top of the day 2. Top of the month Each of these requires a different campaign strategy. If you want to achieve #1, you need to prepare everything before and during the launch. If you aim for #2, it’s a month-long effort, so you should launch at the beginning of the month. The preparation steps are the same for both goals: 1. Build in public on X (Twitter): It’s not about how many viewers you get per post, but about making real connections. Friends will support you, and their votes are valuable on Product Hunt. If you aim for #1, know at least 30+ friends on X. Even with a smaller network, their support can make a huge difference. - By the way, using AutoAE to create viral Twitter posts is a good choice since it’s my creation. 2. Product Hunt community: There are various founders' communities like Telegram, WhatsApp, LinkedIn, and Slack. From my experience, WhatsApp > Telegram > LinkedIn > Slack because messages are received faster on WhatsApp and Telegram. 3. Vote for other founders: This is crucial! The PH team values support from established users and real founders. More founder support increases your chances of achieving your goal. Even with a good product, you need strategy. I kept voting for many founders quietly. Contact the launch team, show your vote in DMs, and comment on PH. 4. Create a good YouTube video:As a YouTuber with an average of 5k views per video, posting before the launch helps. If you don’t have a follower base, YT promotion is a good alternative. 5. Time zones: Don’t underestimate time differences. The launch lasts 24 hours, and time zones in the US, China, and India are perfectly staggered. In the first 4 hours, support from Asia can make a huge difference. After 8 hours, focus on Europe and the US to maximize your reach. 6. Avoid new user votes: PH’s system is smart, and votes from new users are often flagged and removed. Encourage your friends to establish their accounts beforehand. 7. Don’t save votes for the last 20 minutes: PH continuously monitors votes, and a sudden spike can lead to disqualification. Spread your votes out. 8. Vote for other launch-day founders:Remember, it’s a friendly community where everyone helps each other. Today, I’m especially grateful for the top 3 products whose teams voted for us. Thx @Vozo @Zixflow @TimeAlign team, also all super good product! 9. Engage with comments:Always reply to comments promptly. If you encounter any issues, feel free to reach out to me or other founders. The community is genuinely helpful and supportive. After the launch, keep sharing your product! This is key to making the monthly leaderboard. Stay active in different communities and support others. Persistence is the best strategy! Lastly, a small tip: I often share on Reddit, and today I wrote an engaging post, sincerely answering every question. Many friends I interacted with willingly helped upvote—this can bring in dozens of votes! For those aiming for the monthly leaderboard, posting good content regularly will earn you more support. Thank you to everyone who supported AutoAE today. Founders, feel free to stay in touch, and I’ll support you in return! These tips were inspired by friends like @Business Marketing with Nika and @M. Asghar. Thanks for your help! Btw, don't miss AutoAE -- Create viral hooks in seconds. https://www.producthunt.com/posts/autoae Best, Alex from AutoAE

Launching a product on Product Hunt is like a digital scavenger hunt, but with votes instead of hidden treasures! Remember, persistence and genuine engagement are key to climbing the leaderboard.
