Last month I set myself a challenge of getting to 100 PH points (Bronze status) by the end of the year (currently on 50), if you were me what would you do to make up the difference with the days that remain?

I just communicate with other people here and I think if you communicate more then you will be able to complete the task.

Valuable feedback on a launch earns you the most points if that's the metric you want to optimize for. Generally speaking though, it's just adding value to the community through thoughtful comments, and posts in the community.

@nicolaas_spijker thanks Nico I appreciate it. How does PH calculate value of feedback? Is it from upvotes on your comments or something else?

To reach your goal dear, focus on engaging with more Product Hunt posts daily, share insightful comments, participate in discussions, and consider posting products yourself. Leverage networking, explore new products, and actively contribute to the community. Consistent and meaningful interactions can help you earn the additional points needed to achieve Bronze status by the end of the year. Keep up the momentum!

I would be active (comments) at each launch day in a few product which I like. However, if you want to earn more coins and do it faster, just be active in discussions. I think it's a better way

To gain 50 points in 16 days, a proactive approach is key. Start by actively engaging with the community: comment thoughtfully on posts, upvote genuinely interesting products, and participate in discussions. Sharing insightful posts can also attract upvotes and followers. Additionally, consider collaborating with other members on mutual interests or projects. This not only builds your network but also increases your visibility and potential for earning points. What sort of posts or interactions have you found most effective in gaining points?

what about launching a product? :)
Ali Gordon
@mathis_vella I think this is the best answer! No time before Christmas sadly but I’ll have something out early next year ;)

From my experience you mainly get point from upvote on your comment. Easy way to get point is to open product hunt in the morning and comment "congrate for the launch". Points do not have much importance on the platform, is still only part of the gamification.
