Do you pay attention to storytelling when promoting products? What kind of stories do you usually tell? Is it about the value of the product? Or about the origin of the product?

There's still tremendous power of good business case studies woven into stories in written and video format. Additionally as Google Search dominance is coming to an end and with AI Search taking over, those will be more relevant as it garners relevancy. Depending on what industry you are targeting, you need do pragmatic testing of potential stories.

I actually prefer or would prefer to tell real product stories, as many of the products are based on my own life experiences and difficulties with the products. But I've never been sure that users are interested in such personalized stories🤔

The story works when it is intriguing,e.g. "you got the idea when you were frustrated with the current solution". The other way would be to tell a story of how the solution helped someone who needed that solution and use it as a use case which can also double up as a review of the product later.

Storytelling is at the heart of great product promotion—it’s what makes people connect. I focus on stories that highlight the value a product brings to its users, often tying it to real-life scenarios or challenges it solves. Origin stories are great too, especially when they show the passion and purpose behind the product. For example, in our community, we often discuss how to craft narratives that resonate, and tools like Draftly help streamline the ideation process for such content. https://go.draftly.so/IC1Vyn
