Do you find convenient launching a product on a Friday?

We are running like crazy to launch our product tomorrow (Thursday) but it seems like it's going to be ready by Friday. Does that make any sense? Will people pay attention so near the weekend? and the World Cup final, and Christmas, you name it! I appreciate all feedback. Many thanks!

Launching on a Friday can be a great way to capture attention due to the lower levels of competition. However, it's important to consider potential distractions such as the World Cup final and Christmas.

@philipsnyder yeap, thats what we are thinking, too many distractions out there nowadays ..

The largest issue with launch time is competition. The other aspects actually matter less. In fact, launching on the weekends is usually the best when it comes to getting a high ranking. As for the holidays, competition seems to ramp up during this time as well. But I think you should go for it, because delaying your launch is delaying getting valuable feedback and delaying potential profits.

@richard_gao2 You really got me thinking with that last sentence. Part of me feels like we are going to learn a valuable lesson anyways if we launch soon. Many thanks for the advice!

I do not believe there is a good or a bad day to launch. The only difference is weekdays vs weekends (one has more activity because obvious reasons). But between Thursday and Friday, it's the same.

Thanks @joanduarte ! I generally think that fridays are bad days for even sending emails! :)
