Looking for founders who are raising capital.
As we're nearing the point for a first beta release of our product - raisebetter.capital , a fundraising platform for startup founders -
I'm looking for startup founders who are:
1. planning to or in the process of raising VC funding 💰
2. open to a more efficient fundraising process 😎
3. happy to pay nothing at all 🆓
4. provide us with feedback along the way 🗨️
If you are that 🔝 person or know...

Get the key points across in a teaser so the investor can quickly assess if there is a high-level fit that warrants the investor to spend more time going through your deck.
Soon we're making raisebetter.capital available to founders, through this platform you'll get your detailed startup company page that can be shared with matching investors. Fundraising needs some standards, the whole...

China EV's - impose tariffs/bans or not?
Increasingly I've been reading Western media promote the idea of imposing tariffs or even bans of Chinese EV's in EU/US. What are your thoughts, is there a fair argumentation to be made or should China in return impose tariffs on EU/US EV's as well? To me it seems a it hypocritical after years of sourcing nearly every component from China, to then be upset about Chinese entrepreneurs starting...

Pitching - using a deck or not?
Applies to both pitching to investors or a sales pitch. What do you prefer, using a deck to pitch or go more freestyle opening up a dialogue?

Cool product from the looks of it. I've tried to ask this question in the discussions section but it seems like some "moderation" blocked my question to be seen there. Here it goes, as it is very relevant to your product:
Now that I've listed an upcoming launch on PH, I've been contacted by several people offering "upvoting" services to rank high on PH when launching. Most certainly many of...

Fake upvotes - what can PH do about this issue?
Now that I've listed an upcoming launch on PH, I've been contacted by several people offering "upvoting" services to rank high on PH when launching. Most certainly many of you have been approached with similar proposals. They've also shared evidence of their past work and approach. They seem to work with a network of people who mostly create a new account to then provide upvotes for companies...

It depends on many factors and preferences.
At the very start it's a combination of personal preference and what type of company you are building. Not every business worth pursuing will have "venture scale" potential and that's not a bad thing either. A lot of founders make the early mistake of thinking that their business is something of venture scale, start trying to raise from VC's and get...

Followed the travels of some of my family members through Polar Steps. Great to keep track of where they've been, what they've seen and experienced.

It's good to reward engaged member but it should also be based on the quality of their contribution. Just starting a ton of discussions shouldn't necessarily equate to being a valuable member. E.g. "What are your plans this Sunday? What do you eat for breakfast? Monday is coming, how was the weekend?" is really useless content which has nothing to do with launching new tech products. If quality...

PH Community - posting to post has to stop. 🚫
It'd be great if the PH community can be more focused on everything around building products and startups, less about posting to post. Are you really interested in what I'm up to this weekend? Just my 2 cents.
It feels like some people just post to show activity and gain points, but imo it contributes to this community losing its value. Let's stay focused on what this is supposed to be all...

It certainly can work (I've been doing this for years now), good communication is key. That said, working in the same space would be more motivating and probably more efficient.

I guess it depends, if you're profiling a business as something that is developing cutting edge AI but in reality just uses other tools wrapped in a new jacket - it's not an insult but perhaps an indication to not convolute what the product really is. Ultimately if it can add value to users by leveraging GPT's, it's all good and there is a good reason to exist. I personally also take some issue...
Do you think being called a "GPT wrapper" is still an insult, or has that changed?

Bonus question: what are some of the best practices to speed up the conversion from free to paid plans to avoid a large user base being stuck on a free plan?
