For me, eating outside is a great way to combine a meal with some light exercise, like a walk to a nearby park. It makes the break feel more complete.

Taking lunch outside actually saves me time. No more afternoon energy crashes = faster work + fewer mistakes. Plus, squirrels are way more entertaining than email.

Fresh air during lunch feels like hitting a reset button. It gives me a moment to reflect, which often sparks new ideas or solutions to challenges I’m facing.

I don't always take my breaks outside, but when I do, I feel more calm and focused. I think it’s the change of scenery that helps.

During the warmer months, yes! Absolutely a great idea. But these days, up here in Canada, there is barely any sun and it can get well below freezing. A quick walk, however, isn't out of the question.
