Who wants to help fight junk culture?

Hi Hunters! I am a Sydney-based Founder building once.eco Landing on a startup idea was an interesting process, I worked on about 6 ideas before coming up with Once. Think of Once as the Airbnb of things. I, and hopefully many others, believe our planet has enough things. Big companies keep making things. I mean I am an Apple boy all the way, but do we really need a new iPhone model every year? If I was still using my iPhone X today I'm pretty certain my life would be just as fine! So my endeavour is to help fight junk culture by making second-hand things a *first priority*. I only recently watched the doco "Minimalism (2016)" and it's good to see a growing movement of people who want to replace things with more conscious consumerism and a less cluttered life (cos things make us scroll, buy, compare, organise, sacrifice). I personally would be so content just having a suitcase with some clothes and books, and my MacBook of course, and living a nomadic life exploring the incredible beauty of the world. But I know, that works when you're not tied down, especially before you have a family, so it's a season thing. But even those with families or own nice things, I hope things are secondary. There are amazing ways to make memories and experiences, especially with things that already have stories! Everyone has different values and if you believe in a less-junk philosophy, I'd love to connect with you!
