Discussing this via call or chats? Initially, I preferred a call to discuss the task, but later chat was fine for me.

Here's how we typically organize it:
- Calls for 1:1 chats, creative, certain agile meetings (i.e. retrospectives), and brainstorm activities.
- Looms for walkthrough/presenting information
- Messages and comments for discussing at the task level

We can't disrupt our teammate's focus by asking "quick call?". I did that many times. Later, I realised this bitter truth. Yes, you can convey better over a call. But, focus is crucial for any given task. People take it for granted and bother their teammates with unplanned calls. I prefer to chat and if I need to be clear I send vmaker recordings.
