Where do you work best: office, home? (š” vs š¢)

Recently, I asked people when they feel most productive: morning, afternoon, or evening, and got some really interesting answers. Now Iām curious about something else: where do you work best? Home, office, a cafe, or somewhere else?
For me, itās not so much about the specific place, but two things really matter:
1. It needs to be quiet. Thatās why, when I go to the office, I usually arrive super early, before anyone else is there. At home, itās naturally quiet since I live alone. Iām also lucky that my coworkers donāt usually show up until lunchtime, which works perfectly for me š
2. I like to change things up. After a few weeks of working from home, I start to feel like I need a different vibe and head into the office. But after a while, I start missing the comfort of home and switch back. Itās not on a set schedule, more like cycles of 2-3 weeks.
I know some people love working in cafe. Thatās always been surprising to me because Iām someone who thrives in silence and calm, with as few distractions as possible.
What about you? Where do you feel most productive? What makes a workspace work for you? And do you stick to one place or switch it up?

Working from home for a long time is tough, and the coworking spaces nearby just donāt work for me. Lately, Iāve been working from a cafe, and luckily, I found one that I really like. The interior is designed in a nature-inspired style, which is so easy on the eyes, and youāre not stuck staring at a gray wall like in an office.

From my personal experience, working from home is great for productivity and focus, but Iāve noticed that the creative process often kicks in when I change my surroundings. Thatās why I find it helpful to work from different places occasionally - it brings fresh perspective and boosts creativity

Itās easy for me to work in both places. I choose the office on days when my team and I have a lot of meetings, as itās much more enjoyable to hold them in person
It would be easier to switch to a purely work mode in the office. But now it would be more convenient for me to work at home.
70% office and 100% Home
Home, at night. Late at night is the best, when the world is sleeping, I can do a ton of things.
