What's your point of view on digital collaboration?

Imagine this: You're juggling 8 separate conversations in Figma comment threads, 2 DMs and 1 channel conversation in Slack. A stakeholder casually drops feature requests during a Zoom call like they're ordering coffee. A Google doc with project requirements is hopelessly out of date. Meanwhile, you're trying to squeeze in some actual work while managing this digital circus. Updating your Asana tasks? That's a luxury for another lifetime. Nowadays, every tool comes with digital collaboration features. It started with good intentions, but what's the outcome? → Instant, async feedback that is EVERYWHERE → Tools that invite EVERYONE to share their 2 cents → Consensual mediocrity that considers EVERY whim It sometimes feels we've successfully accelerated feedback... ...but put collaboration on a treadmill.

I share your experience, Martin. While digital tools have improved instant feedback, they often result in too many voices and a lack of focused collaboration, making it hard to keep track of everything.

@aqsa_sajjad Well said Aqsa! Do you have any system for how to stay on track?

I completely understand your frustration. Digital collaboration tools are meant to streamline work, but they often end up creating a chaotic environment where feedback is scattered and overwhelming

@hakz How do you un-scatter feedback, and un-overwhelm the team? What works for you?

Digital collaboration is essential in today's interconnected world, fostering innovation and efficiency across teams. Embracing the right tools and practices can significantly enhance productivity and streamline communication.
