Starting from zero. It’s like being the first to dance in an empty hall— a bit embarrassing 🙂 But once the crowd starts dancing, others will join.
@daria_ofitserova - spot on! For every community I built; the first few months were the most difficult. However, my patience was always rewarded. The community RoI beats everything else out there.

I find it tough to foster a sense of belonging and ownership among members to encourage long-term commitment.
@robyn_kline That's a good one. A community needs to evolve with time to serve its members. How do you plan to address this?
building and maintaining engagement - it requires a lot of effort, facilitation, prompting, events, etc to keep the energy up - especially early on.

Sustaining long-term engagement, especially after the initial excitement fades, is something I constantly work on.

I find it challenging to encourage peer-to-peer support and build a network of active contributors.
