For me, the very first thing I do is organize today's tasks using Notion.
In the past, I used to check my email inboxes first, but I've switched to organizing my tasks first as it seems to be a more effective use of my time.

I'll be filling my to-do list for the day.
Organize my tasks, which includes checking my email because there might be some things in there I need to take action on.
First thing is to put my lunch in the office fridge before someone else takes my spot! Then I'll boot up my computer, check Slack for any urgent messages from the team, and skim through emails to see if there's anything that needs an immediate response. After that, I'll review my task list and figure out top priorities for the day before diving into actual work. Oh and can't forget to grab that first cup of coffee!

After that, I look over my task list for the day and prioritize what needs to get done. Usually I hop on a standup call with my team to sync up after that. Oh and of course I grab a big cup of coffee to get through it all! βπ»

I like to start my day by cleaning up my workspace. A tidy desk helps me think more clearly and start the day on a positive note

@filxa_adam I think it's a good idea to start by checking my calendar. I also believe it's better to prepare in advance when I have meetings. I should apply this to my routine as well.
I'll look at the chat from my boss, then check my email while organizing my tasks.
