That existing generative models will continue to rapidly advance. The more AI is trained on synthetic data and content, the more likely it is to plateau or even devolve. The ouroboros effect?
One AI prediction I think is off the mark is that AI will fully replace human creativity.
While AI tools are impressive at generating content, they work best when paired with human direction and imagination. Creativity is deeply tied to personal experiences, emotions, and cultural context – things AI can't replicate authentically. Instead of replacing creativity, AI enhances it by speeding up workflows and providing inspiration.
The real future isn’t about AI taking over, but about humans and AI working together to push boundaries in ways neither could alone.
One AI prediction is overhyped is the idea that AI will fully replace human jobs across all industries in the near future.
AI will likely become a powerful collaborator, but not a replacement
AI will not take away jobs from people. Rather, those who use AI will get jobs of those who do not.
That AI will completely replace human creativity.
