Do you have plans to implement s/mime? its a similar cryprography layer to what whatsapp uses and it would mean your communications are encrypted, and fun to use :) its part of an email spec from the 90s so depending on how you have backed the data, it could slot right in, and be a big win for privacy.

People hate on whiteboard problems but they are efficient to administer from the company's perspective.
We think there are better alternatives like take-home projects, but the creation & administration of them is tedious and they give inconsistent candidate experiences. We are hoping to change that!
@ddoan This is very interesting, I've had a very successful 15 year career as a software engineer and have never passed a virtual code pairing session. Every position I have achieved was through in-person or take home tests. I've been a senior/lead engineer, architected systems, and run team building excercises across an organization. I had learning disabilities growing up and they come out in certain settings.
