Logo change comes from a necessity and the needs of each brand are different. This is why logo design trends cannot be long-lasting or decisive. What do you think about this issue?

In my opinion, this is normal and simply necessary for all brands. The human brain is designed in such a way that it usually wants something new.

Changing the logo as needed is a good idea! However, there might be a potential for consumer confusion, so the default stance might be to not change it.

@new_user_148b3c8cc9 I agree with you. It is very important to get to the core without surprising the consumer.

@new_user_148b3c8cc9 @mervetarayici Yes especially in the digital world where people tend to forget about things constantly

Everything changes. Changing a logo is not something drastic so to say, if you feel that your old logo doesn't represent what your company is at the moment, you gotta change it. It's a part of your brand, I'd even say one of crucial ones.

I think that while design trends can provide inspiration, they shouldn't be the sole determinant for logo changes. Long-lasting and impactful logos are often those that remain timeless and reflect the core values and identity of the brand. Therefore, the decision to change a logo should be made carefully, considering the unique requirements of the brand and its long-term goals. That's it :)

Only change when you don't have a very large customer base i guess. Here's a story but on brand names: The youtuber Mr Beast has a brother and his youtube channel was Original Mr Bro it worked, it had millions of views.. He changed his youtube name to something else and that lead to the demise of his youtube channel.

It could be a good thing if you can change it to a marketing action.

Absolutely, I think logo changes should be driven by a brand's specific needs and evolution rather than fleeting design trends. Every brand is unique, and there's no one-size-fits-all approach to logo design. Staying true to a brand's core values is crucial for long-term success. Here at Logomakerr.ai, we understand the importance of creating logos that genuinely reflect a brand's identity and goals.

If you look at Nike logo changes, since last 4-5 changes they had kept a significant identifier constant, that is what relates to the customer, so best bet would be keep the striking part of the existing logo and change things around, that way all the customers still can relate to the logo immediately.

For me, logos are like the buildings that you use to remember your path to your destination - "make a right at that funny looking building with lots of holes and the paint coming off, and then do a sharp left on that brown apartment with an M-shapped structre in the lobby". So if it changes too much or becomes too bland to remember by / differentiate, it's no use anymore
