I have 96 points on Product Hunt. But I don't know what to do with them.
Are we supposed to redeem them?

I think they're just a way to measure how active a user is. I believe they will help when upvoting or commenting. Like the more points you have, the greater impact your upvotes or messages will have on the products visibility and such. More upvoting power, your vote weighs more.

@market_mornings that makes sense.
I think these are just bragging points. Like karma on Reddit. Doesn't really mean anything but feels good.
@sergey_kornilov1 that's what I thought too.
How do we earn these points?
@benith_harbor @shawn_idrees ballons means you are a new member on PH. THe K's are badges you get, the first one is at 100. To get 100 pointes, you need to get 100 upvotes from other users, either them upvoting a post or a comment.
@euler_marrie you guys have something to share?
@benith_harbor @shawn_idrees ballons indicates that you are new to Product Hunt.
oh cool, im newbie. After reading all the comments, we can summarize that we can collect the point from Upvote from other people, and those point is showing how active you are in Product Hunt community :D
@tiathomas you’ve got that right.
Makes you look cool :)
@richard_gao2 you got a point.
Looks like this discussion did really help somebody. Cheers!

Points just show how active you are on the platform. It also gives some weight to your upvotes.
@fabian_maume Figured out the active part. But I was unaware that it gives weight to the upvotes. Thanks for sharing.
