Hi Vijay, although this isn't necessarily unconventional, I think a major struggle affecting digital marketers is getting internal buy-in/approval from stakeholders. There are many great marketing ideas and tactics that never see the light of day because they get killed internally for a variety of different reasons. Part of the solution is actively involving all stakeholders in strategy development and over-communicating at every step of the process.

@adam_seoptimer Just sharing one struggle and the next steps is enough

@adam_seoptimer I think you are making a great point here. I also believe that it is one of the main aspects that needs to be taken into account.

This differs from what they offer but for all SaaS products, the main goal and struggle are to retain their clients. Of course, everybody wants to increase ARR/MRR, the question is "How?" So they tend to focus on building community(open for feedback content creation, affiliate marketing), email campaigns, optimizing their product, and other strategies.

Another challenge I see is focusing too much on the product. Perfecting the product before launching resulted in a compromised audience and number on the waitlist. Set numbers and deadlines

With client work, it was always budget. Wanting results but not wanting to spend to get them.

@vijay_arora3 I completely agree with the main struggles which was highlighted. I believe one of the key issues that often gets overlooked is the shortage of experienced experts with both hard and soft skills in the field. Cause in the end team it's everything...

One of the main struggles for successful digital marketing is keeping up with the ever-evolving landscape of technology and platforms. Digital marketing is dynamic, with constant algorithm changes on platforms like Google and Facebook, which can disrupt well-planned campaigns. For instance, SEO strategies that worked last year may be obsolete now, requiring marketers to continuously adapt to stay competitive. Another significant challenge is audience targeting. Even with advanced tools, finding the right audience at the right time can be difficult. It's not just about demographics anymore; marketers must understand user behavior, interests, and pain points to effectively engage them. Additionally, managing multiple channels and maintaining a consistent brand message can be overwhelming. With social media, email marketing, content marketing, and paid ads all in play, coordinating a unified message across these channels requires meticulous planning and execution. Budget constraints are another common hurdle. Small to medium businesses often face difficulty in competing with larger companies that can invest more in advanced marketing tools, paid advertising, and high-quality content. Balancing a budget while maximizing ROI is a constant struggle. For affiliate marketers, building a passive income through digital marketing can be particularly challenging without the right systems in place. Tools like https://www.automatedaffiliatema... can significantly ease this process by streamlining affiliate marketing efforts, allowing marketers to focus on scaling their strategies. Lastly, staying data-driven while maintaining creativity is a delicate balancing act. Marketers need to interpret data correctly to make informed decisions, but they must also come up with fresh, engaging content that resonates with their audience. In summary, successful digital marketing requires constant adaptation, precise audience targeting, multi-channel management, budget efficiency, and leveraging the right tools to stay ahead.
