We already know the answers to help us build & grow an audience: -Define your audience -create quality content -post consistently -engage with your audience But why do we keep struggling? And What's the most important among these? There is no clear answer to this question. I'd just like to hear your thoughts on this.

People got bored of everything, and the constant trash posting also played a major role in this. Now, no matter what you post, if you're not a veteran on those platforms that had some followers before this social media apocalypse, you will have a hard time. People right now are not interested in anything useful, just internet dramas over petty subjects, identity crisis, and repetitive content that can be consumed and reused a month later with a slight change.

I think a bit of luck also sometimes helps! You get one viral post and it will build momentum

@richard_gao2 Haha, I agree with you, Richard. On Twitter, we've already seen some cases that build momentum

I guess it's a mix of quality plus innovation. There's so much noise on social media these days that you need to really stand out to ensure good following. Plus, it's important to reach the right people. You must know how and where to find them. Hope this helps :)

In order to get more interested in your product, it is not in vain that thousands of dollars are paid for advertising and not only. And that's just to get noticed.

Consider the platform you use carefully. Unfortunately, not every platform fits every brand. However, if you grow your audience on one social media channel, your presence on the other channels will also grow.

I think the element you should tackle is the 'quality content'. Who told you your content was valuable for your audience? (real question) What I would advise you to do: - Jump on some calls with people from your target IC - Ask genuine questions about what they need - Listen to them List the pain they share with you. Then match those with a path to resolution. If your content is not actionable then why should they follow you? I hope this can help you! @clarkvalberg

@clarkvalberg @othmane_khadri That's a great answer. It is essential to try to understand the customer.
