Quick motivational note

I've been out shopping today and was able to demo the MVP for my latest app to my target market, local retailers. Having a working model is sooo much easier to sell. It does all the talking for you (especially if it's an intuitive UI). I've had some great feedback and it's really motivated me to keep pushing ahead. Just thought I'd share for anyone having doubts or imposter syndrome. Get your idea out there and get feedback as early as possible. Dave

Congrats Dave! How have you been approaching people/retailers? Just walking up and introducing yourself? I'm looking to do the same thing with my app for our initial beta test later this quater!

@kali_curated Hi Kali. Yep, by just walking in and getting chatting. It's difficult when they're busy but I've got my elevator pitch down to a fine art 🙂 My app replaces a paper-based process, so I start by talking about the problems with that and then drop the "I've built a app that does all that". Also, important to emphasize that I'm not selling anything and I'm just looking for feedback and testers.

I actually agree with you dave! Earlier, I used to be in this world thinking that everything has to be perfect before I step out and take the chance. Lately, I have started realizing thats its the reiterations we have over time that make something perfect.

That's fantastic, David! Getting real-world feedback is invaluable. Keep pushing forward, and best of luck with your app's journey! 🚀💪
