Launching your product before completion

Hi all and happy new year 🎊
I've been reading a lot lately about getting your product out there before it's ready for launch. ie getting early adopters, website up, building a mailing list.
What are your experiences and pointers for achieving maximum bang for your buck?
Also, it it possible and/or advisable to launch on PH before you have something tangible?

You can do it outside PH, because PH won't let you proceed with another launch of the same products till 6 months or so.
I am also planning to roll out a beta version to give early access to people in the waitlist and get their valuable before the actual launch

@zuhaib_ashfaq thanks for that. so how did you build a waitlist?
@orchard800 I don't have a waitlist yet. For that, I'm building a Coming Soon website where people can put in their email addresses and get early access (or beta version).
Hopefully by raising enough awareness through SMM I'll be able to pull it through
I released mockup screenshots when I did preorders. Then I made a demo and did more preorders. When I actually released, it was the bare minimum but I wanted to start getting things moving more.
