Podcasters who host remote interviews — what's your recording platform of choice?

TLDR; We've used MelonApp (now Talk Studio from Streamlabs) for almost 2 years but now we lose a lot of local HD recordings from guests, need a more reliable recording platform.
Well, I don't have much more to add. On my wishlist as a host:
1. Easy to use (MelonApp was super simple, just send a link to the guest and they could join right in the browser)
2. LOCAL RECORDINGS in HD for both audio and video — eliminates any lag from connectivity issues.
3. Would be nice to have a built-in editor for rough edits without downloading and re-uploading into another software.
- Also for making promo clips.
What's making podcast hosts smile these days?

I use Riverside.fm! I never used their editor or to make promo clips but I think they have them?
