MVP or MLP: What should Product Marketer's focus more on?

When your Product team is ready to launch MVP in two months but MLP would still take its own time, how can you prioritise & strategise for the two launches as Product Marketers? 🤒

Hi Shruti, I would answer this question a bit differently...
Since there's no fundamental basis to what qualifies a product as viable or loveable, I would answer it in terms of 1st launch and the subsequent few launches
1st Launch
- This should be in a closed/trusted ecosystem. By trust, I don't mean friends and family, rather a relevant community where you have built your and your brand's presence...
- Could be a Reddit Forum OR Product Hunt OR Hacker News... Needless to say, you should actively start participating and contributing to those communities, and contribute to do so even after your launch
- Now you may ask what if my product is not an online offering... That doesn't matter... Your market (especially if your TG's age group is <=35) will almost always have an online presence
Subsequent Launches
- With every launch, try to build more and more awareness within the communities you've built... That could mean doubling down on content marketing, workshops etc...
- All of this is to be done with the objective of converting your early users to early adopters and hopefully getting them to activate the referral flywheel
- As you deepen your bonding with these communities, they would only tell you about other communities where you can approach...
- Once you have gotten sufficient traction within one or two communities through your first few launches, that in itself is a signal you reaching towards your MLP. With your next version, you can try to potentially scale up to your next set of communities

@piyush_jaiswal14 Yes I totally agree..MVP's can be handled with soft launches and the latter launches can include a wider community!!
@shruti_vrm yes, exactly... On a different note, can you check out this poll and share it with others if possible? https://www.producthunt.com/disc...
