For me, I have a hard time getting engagement on X. I have a relatively small following and somehow have never been able to hit my stride there. On LI I have several thousand followers and connections and actually get engagement on my posts, so I feel a lot more comfortable there.

LinkedIn. Both me and co-founder for some reason get more organic reaction there. Maybe its content / industry specific as we build B2B saas

It depends on what you're looking for (I'm Cap Obvious). For me, they are quite different. I use LinkedIn a lot for sales and communication, which I can't do on Twitter (at least not on the same scale). However, the connections made on Twitter are much more valuable, honestly. LinkedIn is great, but nurturing communications there takes a lot of time.

Both have different types of audiences, so it seems. I'm trying to build momentum on both platforms.

Well, LinkedIn is like a sophisticated networking event where you wear a suit, and Twitter is more like a fun cocktail party where memes are the dress code. So, which vibe works best for your business?

Linkedin hasn't worked very well for me. Twitter has been on my radar for long. Hopefully soon.

I prefer LinkedIn for detailed posts and articles. The platform seems better suited for in-depth discussions and sharing valuable content with professionaals

I am planning to start a Mandarin course business. For this kind of business, LinkedIn may be more effective as my primary audience includes professionals and businesses seeking language training for career advancement. LinkedIn’s professional environment and B2B opportunities can be beneficial for this target market. However, my goal is to reach a wider audience, including casual learners and those interested in language and culture, Twitter (X) can complement my strategy by providing real-time engagement and broader reach. Consider using both platforms to leverage their unique strengths. LinkedIn can help establish credibility and connect with professionals, while Twitter can help build a wider community and engage with potential learners on a more frequent basis.
