Is Twitter (X) Premium worth it? + Benefits

One of my YouTube videos increased the demand for this question. I do not know why they are curious about that but at least, I can outline what are the benefits of having Twitter premium: – You can write longer posts (280+ characters) – You can see Advanced Analytics – Grok chat is quite good – Post and browse job opportunities – Creators can have some revenue – You can create X Decks panels – You are protected so spammy accounts cannot message you I think that there are many useful features. What is your take on it?

@giomate per month? It depends from which os system you are purchasing and from which device (Laptop/Smartphone) – I paid for monthly last year something around 11 euros. But I do not remember whether it was from my Android or Apple.

I am used to writing long posts, so I didn't even use Twitter before. So for me, the new functionality is critical, I am very glad that it exists.

For me, the reason is simple: the person who has Twitter Blue has a debit/credit card. This means they are a real person (bots don’t have credit cards).

If you're using X to promote your business or grow you personal brand, I absolutely think it's worth it. If you just use X to casually browse news, not worth it.

I am using Twitter for business or job networking, Premium is definitely worth it. The ability to post longer content, access job opportunities and get detailed analytics can really help me brand stand out.

1. **Ad-Free Experience** - One of the most notable features of X Premium is the **ad-free experience**. For users who find ads disruptive and want a cleaner, uninterrupted timeline, this can be a significant benefit. This feature is particularly valuable for those who spend a lot of time on the platform and are looking to optimize their experience without distractions. 2. **Priority Ranking and Boosted Visibility** - **Priority ranking** is a feature that can make your tweets more visible. X Premium users often get their posts ranked higher in search results and can have better visibility in replies, making it easier to get attention, especially for **business accounts** or **content creators**. This can be valuable for individuals and brands who rely on engagement and visibility for growth. 3. **Longer Tweets and Enhanced Media Uploads** - X Premium users can post **longer tweets** (up to 4,000 characters), allowing for more detailed and richer content without the need for external links or multiple posts. This is useful for people who need to share comprehensive information or updates. - Additionally, you can upload **high-quality videos** (up to 60 minutes long), which can be valuable for brands, marketers, or creators who rely on video content to engage with their audience. 4. **Bookmark Folders** - With X Premium, you can organize saved tweets into **bookmark folders**, making it easier to manage important content, inspiration, or references. This feature is useful for those who curate content regularly or want to keep a collection of specific tweets for later. 5. **Customization and Personalization** - Premium users have access to additional **customization options**, including theme colors, the ability to customize your navigation, and other personalization features. These can help give a unique touch to your profile, especially for businesses or individuals looking to create a more branded experience on the platform. 6. **Early Access to New Features** - As a premium subscriber, you get **early access to new features** and tools before they are rolled out to the wider audience. If you like to be at the forefront of new tools and technology, this can be an appealing benefit, allowing you to leverage new functionalities ahead of your competitors. 7. **Better Analytics** - **X Premium** offers enhanced **analytics** and insights on your posts. This can help businesses, marketers, and influencers track their performance more effectively, refine their strategies, and better understand their audience’s behavior on the platform. 8. **Increased Engagement with Tweets** - Premium users get **longer edit windows** for tweets. You can edit your tweets up to 1 hour after posting, which is useful for fixing mistakes, updating links, or making small adjustments without losing engagement. 9. **Better Customer Support** - X Premium users often have access to **priority customer support**, meaning issues and requests are handled more quickly, which is a valuable benefit for people who use Twitter for business and need more responsive service. 10. **Exclusive Features and Access** - There are exclusive features, such as **Spaces recording**, and the ability to host larger and more dynamic **Twitter Spaces** (live audio events). These features can enhance community engagement and brand visibility. --- ### When X Premium Is Worth It: 1. **Business & Marketing Needs**: - If you're using Twitter to **grow your brand**, **reach customers**, or **promote products**, the increased visibility, better analytics, and priority ranking can be very helpful. The ad-free experience and longer content options can also make your tweets more polished and professional. 2. **Content Creators/Influencers**: - For **creators** who rely on high-quality content, video uploads, and engaging with followers regularly, the ability to post longer tweets, organize saved content, and get more detailed analytics can enhance your workflow. 3. **Heavy Twitter Users**: - If you use Twitter frequently, the **ad-free experience** and additional customization options may provide a more enjoyable and streamlined experience. 4. **Access to New Features**: - For early adopters or those who like to experiment with new features, the **early access** to updates can provide a competitive edge, especially in industries where staying ahead of trends is important. --- ### When X Premium May Not Be Worth It: 1. **Casual Users**: - If you're not using Twitter for business, content creation, or marketing and are just casually browsing or engaging, many of the advanced features in X Premium might not justify the monthly cost. 2. **Limited Budget**: - For those who are on a tight budget, the **cost** of X Premium may not be justifiable if you're not utilizing all the features regularly. 3. **Alternative Platforms**: - If you’re using other social platforms for engagement, visibility, or business needs, you may find that the investment in X Premium doesn’t provide enough additional benefits to make it worth switching or upgrading.
