How much in advance do you prepare seasonal marketing campaigns?

I remember how Halloween hadn’t started yet, and Christmas decorations in brick-and-mortar stores were already making their way in.
Most of you are gearing up for Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
How far in advance do you start preparing for these events?

@abhishek_ux I would start maybe sooner :)
I think staring earlier may give an edge to you over staring during the season! Simply because it's crowded. If this matters to your audience, customers and you, earlier the better.

@varu_dwarak Wise point. I rather plan before to have enough time to make things better.
I've played around with different timelines, and honestly, it depends on your campaign size as well. I keep a "seasonal swipe file", basically a folder of my best-performing campaign elements from previous years. This cuts planning time in half and lets me focus on fresh ideas instead of reinventing the wheel.

@busmark_w_nika For different types of businesses it varies. Software tech is not that profitable around Christmas as customers are more focused on other tangible items.
