Of course, no one can predict exactly what marketing will look like in 5-10 years. New technologies and where people spend their attention will drive the platforms and tools we use. But the core of marketing, persuading people by tapping into their basic wants and needs, will remain the same. Throughout history, the most basic human motivations have remained fairly constant. Even as we embrace new technologies like AI or virtual reality, the goal remains the same: to understand and influence human behavior. So while marketing tools and methods will evolve, the mission will not: to connect with and persuade people based on their wants and needs.

Someone posted a thread here earlier, stating that instead of SEO, we are going to have AISEO or AIEO, and they even launched a product about it. I kinda agree that we will be optimizing our websites to rank on AI if the market shifts to AI search.

Seems like a tough ask — what would marketers have projected before the iPhone? I wonder who would have suggested that streaming services would re-embrace traditional TV advertising a few years back. That said, augmented reality + artificial intelligence + blockchain + micro personalization + seem likely in some combination.
