Our office just had a heated debate about pronouncing niche, so I have come to see if the PH community can give us the final verdict. ๐

If this discussion doesn't go viral, I will start pronouncing it "Nitch"
Only Niche (neesh)! I do hear a lot of Americans say nitch though which is very funny. There is no T in the word so not sure how they think that it should be pronounced like that ๐
@simona_o_neill3 and thus lies the issue with the English lanugage ๐ It's the hard "che" like cheese?...Should we be saying sheese?

Neesh (niCH) according to the translator ๐
The word you're referring to is likely "niche." The pronunciation can vary, and both "neesh" and "nitch" are commonly accepted pronunciations.
