We prioritized features with our launch based on our interactions with engineers. Worked fine for us still

We focus on the core use cases unless the product user profile differs from your current users & you have a good sense for what features PH users would find most valuable. Otherwise we just market the same core use case to make sure our messaging is coherent across the channel.

Listen to feedback and criticism. Don't overreact and evaluate objectively. Then prioritise and execute.

Classify in 4 levels : - Important and urgent - Important no urgent - Not important but urgent - Not important and not urgent Then you can put each feedback in the corresponding cell and start working on it!

The approach depends on whether we already have users. If we do, we should listen to their feedback, address pain points, and add frequently requested features to attract positive attention on Product Hunt.
It depends. Does your product already have users?
@vladimir_zivkovic Then the best way is to give the options to your users and take a poll. I believe for early stage products, users can be the best source to know what features to roll out.

It seems to me that a product update should be essential and useful for the community to make a new launch.

I think it mostly depends on the specific business goals.
