  • How do you get feedback about you/your performance from your teammate ?

Last month, I requested to increase my salary to my manager. Fortunately, my request has been accepted, and I will be promoted in the next month. One thing I realized is that I haven't tried a lot to know how my teammates estimate me. I think I have nice relationships with my coworkers, but you know it's close to the guestimation. I'm thinking to get feedback from them, but I don't know how to start. Having 1on1 would be weird I think. Imagining 1on1, it should be very very superficial and they would say good things only.

101s and performance reviews are for you and your manager. For teammates... what do you want to measure by that feedback? Is this regarding the teambuilding? You can ask your manager if you want to connect better with the team.

@oleg_guryanov Thank you Oleg! What I want is more likely to understand what to improve myself. You know even if I'm satisfied with the current company, there are still some things to improve. In the previous 1on1 with my manager, he said that he had no feedback. However, I should improve myself to become a better person. 🤔

@jin_kwon There still should be feedback for the work you do. Try to research, for example: https://www.indeed.com/career-ad...
