How do points on PH work?

Question

For those whom have been longer on the platform, or the community manager, what should I do with the points? Is it just a simbol that shows how active I am on PH?

Hey @gabriele_sangrigoli,

You can earn points by actively contributing across Product Hunt. Contributing includes: posting products, creating discussions, and engaging in conversations. You'll gain points when other community members upvote, cheer, or in any way appreciate your contribution.

Hi @Gabriele_Sangrigoli,
I think when PH's algorithm evaluates vote weights, users with different points have different weights, and their comments are more trustworthy.
