How did you launch MVP without PH?

I'm so happy! Yesterday we launched the MVP of our product and are already receiving our first audience. We still have a lot of updates to do to launch on ProductHunt, but Iโm already thinking about increasing the audience.
How did you find your first audience without the power of ProductHunt?

Launching an MVP without Product Hunt involves leveraging a mix of direct outreach, social media platforms, and niche forums where your target audience hangs out. It's all about building relationships and creating buzz organically in communities that care about your product.

I would try Twitter.
Reddit is notoriously tough but likely worthwhile.

@dima_isakov What's the target demographic for your product Dima? Twitter is full of small indie makers. Many people do very well selling small tools to them on Twitter.

@mho22 I have a small channel in Telegram where I share my experience with other designers. This is the first audience to discovered my product. Next, I plan to share it with my Gumroad customers who have been supporting my creativity since 2017. All this time I've been sharing my free digital products with them.

I see many people are growing their following on Twitter and LinkedIn, but it works better when you focus on building your personal brand and just talk about how you work on your product. For example, #buildinpublic or #buildinginpublic are quite popular hashtags with active users.
But it can be tricky to find your target audience sometimes. For example, our audience is soccer pros, and they don't cross over with IT developers and entrepreneurs as much as we'd like ๐
We've launched today too, by the way. We'd be glad to hear your opinion! ๐
