Did you implement a prelaunch waitlist strategy? How did you plan, build & grow your waitlist from zero to first 100+ sign ups (outside family, colleagues & friends)?

If you have a Ship page, share it with as many people as you can that would be interested in your product or who want to support you!

Partnered with communities in the space that we were building in!

We didn't do any paid advertisements. It wasn't easy as you can imagine, but we wanted to see how far we can go without it. We did e-mail marketing via Hubspot and sent InMail to every C-level in the sector via LinkedIn Sales Navigator. It was not working at first, but after the second InMails, they started to respond. Also, we are very active on social media and we are publishing a weekly newsletter from LinkedIn that gains so much attention.

@sanat_mohanty We received 218 subscribers organically only in 14 days. (We have a total of 583 followers on LinkedIn.) we have shared only 2 newsletter sections so far, yet the engagement rate is around 17% for those ones and the reach is over our total follower numbers! It's also a way of being visible and creating awareness.

@burcu_zeynep_konuk This is super super useful - especially the tip on weekly Linkedin newsletter. Though I was aware of Linkedin newsletters - I have never used them. How do they perform in terms reach & engagement ?

@burcu_zeynep_konuk can you drop a link to your LinkedIn newsletter ? Would love to check it out.

@burcu_zeynep_konuk - good recommendation! Building community around your product is the way to go - trick is finding it and staying engaged. Harder to get started (we're in the middle of it now), but already getting early signals that feel way more valuable than the rando paid search signup.

There are five key components to a successful waitlist and successful launch: A waitlist growth strategy, ad campaign, landing page, the waitlist itself, and a nurture campaign.

@karthik_kapoor Thanks a lot. Any tip on nurture campaign ? Are you referring to email nurture ?
