Have you heard of Interactive Product Demo tools?

A new category of products are making it more accessible for your customers to get accustomed to your product and its features even before they actually signup the product. Layerpath is one of them and we also got an integration with ProductHunt to add an interactive demo of your product during a Product Hunt launch. But I see that this space is still pretty nascent and not many builders are making the best use of Interactive demo tools that can actually 2X their sales, marketing, customer education and customer success activities for the product. Do let me know your thoughts about interactive demo tools, do you find them useful?

When I was leading growth in-house, two of my biggest wins came from using interactive demos. At the time, we called them "lightweight versions of the product embedded on the website." But "interactive demos" definitely has a better ring to it. We noticed they: - Drove more engagement. Instead of the usual 3-5% of visitors clicking on CTAs, interactive demos engaged close to 30% of our website visitors. - Boosted our activation rate by creating product momentum pre-signup. - Gave us more actionable usage data by filtering out "pokers" who signed up but never engaged with the product. I'm super excited to see these becoming table stakes for product-led orgs.

@andrew_capland Hey Andrew, pretty impressed with the kind of deep insight that you got for this space. Would love to get on a call with you and get your feedback on product and GTM for Layerpath. We are doing some pretty awesome stuff in tech that we have built for interactive demo space. Now its time for us to go in front of our users and get them equipped to discover the product so well. Another quick questions - which interactive demo tool were you using? Hit me up on Linkedin - https://www.linkedin.com/in/bala... (Let's chat 👋)

@benjaminbekken Just checked it out, looks super interesting. Looks like you have implemented it to the point. I would suggest placing a few more demos during your onboarding and on the high friction touchpoints. Could help with product adoption 🚀. An additional tip Product Hunt has added a new field for interactive demo - do embed the demo there. Do feel free to reachout to me if you face any issues - I am in this space (Leading growth at Layerpath - a strong competitor of Arcade 😅 )and would love to support you with any issues you face. Look forward to your launch and support you with it.

Yeah interactive product demos are super engaging for website visitors! I've seen tools like Navattic and Repli that let you create interactive demos right on your site without any coding. Definitely worth checking out if you want to boost conversions and keep people on your site longer.

@cedricjudehawthorne So true, I had put this post up to hear from makers and builders like you and see what they have to say about this interactive demo space. We have been building pretty heavily in this space, I believe we will emerge as the leading player in this space in an year or so. Stay tuned 🤟

While I think interactive demos are useful, I'm not sure every product needs one. For simpler products a demo might not be necessary, but for complex ones

I've found interactive demo tools to be helpful. They give users a chance to try things out and get comfortable with the product before deciding to sign up.
