We have, and it's an on-and-off thing. I believe it really depends on yo ur  target audience and whether short-form videos are their type of content.

If you are building anything retail, it's the best option currently available, because of the audience.

What I've come to understand is that most of your B2B audience also uses Reels or TikToks, but they do so for different reasons compared to the average 18-25 market. As a result, even though they might be there, they might avoid content pointed at them, specifically because they go to those platforms to "run away" from all the commitment of the other platforms.

People go to certain platforms for certain reasons, and if you can understand your market and why they go to those platforms, which is also ties to when they go to those platforms, you'll be able to create the type of content needed for them in that state.

An example: Most professionals go to TikTok and Reels during their work breaks and after work, meaning there is probably a sense of decision and work related fatigue, so they might avoid watching business related content and need more entertainment related content.

There’s an interesting insight that other businesses have shared with me.

When it comes to platforms like YouTube, you can generally predict the volume of views a video will get. Of course, there are exceptions where videos go viral, but overall, it’s easier to estimate the performance—especially when running multiple ads.

However, with Reels, Shorts, and TikToks, it works a bit differently. Many of these videos might get only a small number of views, but with consistent effort, one video can suddenly go viral and gain more views (and more customers and money) than dozens of previous videos combined. That’s why it’s essential to create a lot of content. While the probability of a single video going viral is lower, the payoff is worth it if you’re able to produce content consistently.

Usually using UGC creators showing the product in use and showing main benefits.

And even with personal branding it works good because you can deliver story in a Short form. – Which can be hard for storytelling to stay brief.

But you can increase trust of people for your brand.
