Hey everyone,
I came across a LinkedIn scraper on PH today: https://www.producthunt.com/posts/scrapin
Curious, if you have tried any LinkedIn data scraping tools.
I'm interested in extracting information like profiles, connections, job postings, etc.
Any suggestions or experiences you can share would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance!

I haven't scraped LinkedIn, but I've done a lot of scraping. Apify.com is a GREAT tool for scraping social media sites. Also, because LinkedIn is so heavily oriented around more personal communication, working with a VA can be a good strategy too.

Haven't been scraping linkedin. One of our customers have been using some tool (don't remember the name) for automating outreach to people that match their customer profile.
One thing I'd be careful about with these tools is that when Linkedin detects suspicious activity, they might suspend your account.

@udayparmar I suggest to attract leads instead of contacting them first. It makes people think they have found your product themselves. For example here https://www.linkedin.com/company... we trained our AI-driven marketing bot to interact with very relevant people and it gave a crazy number of followers and actual leads, both b2c and b2b.
Yes, but I use Sales Nav + Phantombuster
We built a free and unlimited sales navigator scraper. The only limit that would apply are the ones to protect your account :)
If that sounds interesting: Airscale.io

I gave Telescope AI a try this past week and it did a decent job creating a prospect list with LinkedIn profiles
Yes, I used a tool called phantombuster once to extract leads

No not yet but I would love to, you guys have any suggestion?
Ah, scraping LinkedIn for lead gen? It's like diving into a data gold mine wearing a digital miner's hat! Have you braved the LinkedIn scraping tools terrain yet? Let's swap stories! 🤖🚀
No, but I'm interested in seeing what others are using!
I’ve used LinkedIn scraping tools for lead generation. They can be quite effective for pulling up profiles and job details.
I’ve dip with LinkedIn scrapers before. They can save a lot of time, but sometimes the data isn’t as accurate as I’d like. It might be helpful to combine scraping with manual checks for the best results.
I've tired a few LinkedIn scraping tools. They can be useful, but I've found that they sometimes miss out on profiles or connections.
If there really are tools like that, wouldn't sales navigator lose its purpose?
That seems like a great idea, but don't know if there are any tools for it....
I've had some experience with data scraping, although not specifically with LinkedIn due to their strict policy against it. It's important to note that scraping LinkedIn could potentially violate their terms of service, which could lead to account suspension or legal issues.
That being said, if you're looking for lead generation, I'd recommend using LinkedIn's Sales Navigator or their official API, which are both designed for this purpose and are compliant with LinkedIn's terms. They provide a wealth of information and can be a valuable tool for lead generation.
Hope this helps and best of luck with your endeavors!
