Hey everyone, I came across a LinkedIn scraper on PH today: https://www.producthunt.com/posts/scrapin Curious, if you have tried any LinkedIn data scraping tools. I'm interested in extracting information like profiles, connections, job postings, etc. Any suggestions or experiences you can share would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

If there really are tools like that, wouldn't sales navigator lose its purpose?

Haven't been scraping linkedin. One of our customers have been using some tool (don't remember the name) for automating outreach to people that match their customer profile. One thing I'd be careful about with these tools is that when Linkedin detects suspicious activity, they might suspend your account.

I have not tried it myself, but I have heard about a perfect tool for web scraping called Import.io.

Hi! Yes, I've used a LinkedIn scraper before. It was really helpful for gathering contact info and job postings. Just make sure to follow LinkedIn's policies to avoid any issues.

No, I haven't used scraping for LinkedIn lead generation. I prefer to build connections and generate leads through authentic engagement and networking on the platform.

I've tired a few LinkedIn scraping tools. They can be useful, but I've found that they sometimes miss out on profiles or connections.

I've looked into LinkedIn scrapers but haven't used one extensively. I'm concerned about compliance with LinkedIn’s rules. If anyone has used a tool successfully without problems, I'd love to hear about it.

I haven't scraped LinkedIn, but I've done a lot of scraping. Apify.com is a GREAT tool for scraping social media sites. Also, because LinkedIn is so heavily oriented around more personal communication, working with a VA can be a good strategy too.

I’ve used LinkedIn Sales Navigator for lead gen. While not a scraper, it offers advanced search features that are really effective.

I've had some experience with data scraping, although not specifically with LinkedIn due to their strict policy against it. It's important to note that scraping LinkedIn could potentially violate their terms of service, which could lead to account suspension or legal issues. That being said, if you're looking for lead generation, I'd recommend using LinkedIn's Sales Navigator or their official API, which are both designed for this purpose and are compliant with LinkedIn's terms. They provide a wealth of information and can be a valuable tool for lead generation. Hope this helps and best of luck with your endeavors!

I’ve dip with LinkedIn scrapers before. They can save a lot of time, but sometimes the data isn’t as accurate as I’d like. It might be helpful to combine scraping with manual checks for the best results.
