Have you ever 10x growth through word of mouth?

I run a design and dev agency called Markham Square and the greatest growth engine we have at the moment is word-of-mouth referrals. Has anyone had success in expanding their word-of-mouth network among existing customers? I'm trying to think of incentive structures without diluting relations but mostly curious if there's an established structure I'm not aware of.
