Do you ever support product launches voluntarily, or as per fellows' requests?

Almost everyone's presence and goal in this platform is obvious: Launch product, get upvoted as much as possible and be the number one product of the day, week and so forth. To this end we try to expand our network, find people who will also launch soon, ask for support for our launch in return for the support for their launches. To this point everything is clear. This is how the thigs work here and should be deemed normal. I would like to learn another thing. As a product enthusiast do you ever follow any launch voluntarily, without anyone's request, that is interesting yo you? To be honest, I have done it recently. It was my own initiative because discovering new ideas conveyed through products really excites me. I won't name which products they are, because some of you may think that I am promoting them with this post :) I should add that these products do not put forward great ambitions, but represent quite niche areas that are my hobbies. Please, share your thoughts and experiences in this regard.
