    depends on what you’re building and your vision. for some, strong brand positioning becomes the umbrella that makes all future product positioning easier and coherent. it’s not one-size-fits-all though. sometimes a killer product shapes the brand. think about where you want to be in 10 years and backtrack from there.

    I would say brand positioning. Firstly, the brand includes the products, and not vice versa. Secondly, there are brands that are over 100 years old. And in our time it’s generally difficult to remember a product that lasts more than 3-5 years.
