connecting with open-source makers to work on joint projects / get to know each other?

i've been looking for people myself lately to collaborate on some stuff, and I realized others might have the same needs- would you guys be interested in a product connecting you with other makers to work on open-source projects / make connections before you even invite someone to work full time with you?
