3 things that the greatest founders have in common (my observation)

1. Money.
2. ...
π Well, now seriously.
Yesterday I was thinking about what the most influential minds in the world share. What signs or qualities are specific to them?
π And I make up this short list:
1οΈβ£ They went beyond known limits
β
In other words, they risked a lot and tried to achieve something that wasn't imaginable for other people.
2οΈβ£ They delegated work to others
β
They had insight into many things but surrounded themselves with the most knowledgeable specialists or had a "partner in crime".
3οΈβ£ They created a cult of personality
β
I am not sure whether one can be born with this kind of greatness or can be gained over time, but it is a kind of charisma that others follow blindly.
Of course, I think there is much more, but these are common for the most successful ones.
What else did you observe?

Can't agree more. They started up their career in a new or rarely known realm, regardless of negative comments from their friends and family. And then there's a way out. They created a new demand for the whole industry; attracted, and gained countless target customers by their innovation and brand new ideas. That's how they stand out.

@linda_yanlin who is your favourite business owner?
Great list.
I also think they build something that they absolutely love and their passionate about it. It's their baby.

@nathancovey yes! Today, I read one chapter from Richard Branson's book (Spoiler: when he had to sell Virgin Records for a while in 93, he couldn't announce it properly to his employees while he was crying and he described it as a funeral of his loved child) β then I went back home, so need to read the rest :D
They are warriors.

Might sound boring but the founders I personally admire all have one thing in common - resilience. I mean everything you said is accurate but in your business you will be faced with significant ups and downs, and unless you have resilience you will falter. The art of never giving up and adapting is what makes them great.

Really interested in great list

I completely agree. I'd like to add my thoughts: they are willing to rationally experiment and gradually increase their investment.

Another point to add is their ability to face failures without losing confidence. A failed project never stops them from creating something great.
Interesting points!
Iβd add a 4th: resilience.
The greatest founders often went through countless failures, but their capacity to bounce back and learn from those failures is unmatched.

Very good list, especially agree!

Absolutely agree with you! Your list really nails down some key traits that set influential minds apart.
1οΈβ£ Pushing beyond known limits is essential. It's about stepping out of the comfort zone and envisioning what's not yet on the horizon.
2οΈβ£ Delegation is another huge one. No one can be an expert in everything, so knowing when to bring in specialists is crucial.
3οΈβ£ The cult of personality is interesting. Charisma can indeed make a difference in how others perceive and follow you.
Iβd also add relentless curiosity and the ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances. What do you think?
