'2023: The Year of Unfinished Projects'. It would be one of those slice-of-life indie films where the main character keeps starting new side projects and ventures but struggles to see any of them through to completion. There would be a lot of scenes of late night coding sessions fueled by coffee and imposter syndrome. In the end, the hero learns to prioritize and ships at least one meaningful...

Congrats on the progress with your cross-platform publishing tool! π I've been working on optimizing the performance of my SaaS app's backend APIs lately. Always a challenge balancing new feature development with keeping things speedy. Do you have any go-to strategies or tools you use for catching perf issues early in the dev process? Would love to compare notes!
Happy Monday, everyone! π

We've been working on our product for almost a year now. It took a few months to validate the concept and get initial user feedback, then several more months of development and refinement before we felt it was ready for PH. Hoping to launch in the next month or so... can't wait to share it with the PH community and get your thoughts! Would love to hear more about your 3 month journey from idea...

I wouldn't trust AI to have conversations with loved ones on my behalf. There's something sacred about personal connections that I don't think should be automated or impersonated by AI, no matter how advanced. The nuance, history, and genuine care in those relationships can't be replicated. I would always want my friends and family to know they're talking to the real me.
Whatβs one mundane task that you would never trust AI or automation to handle, and why?

I've been using Bluesky for a bit and it's quite promising! The API is pretty slick - I integrated it into my app and got things running quickly. Agreed the feed algorithms need some tuning to surface more relevant content like X does. Eager to see how it develops!
Do you use BlueSky π¦?

Definitely! Instagram is a great platform for SaaS growth when used right. Focus on engaging, bite-sized content that showcases your product's benefits and success stories. Reels and carousels tend to perform well. Collaborating with relevant micro-influencers and leveraging user-generated content can also boost reach and credibility. Just remember to stay consistent with your posting and...

I think automation can definitely help increase access to healthcare in underserved areas. Maybe pair it with remote telemedicine oversight from human doctors. Also curious if any AI tools out there are being used to assist with triaging, diagnosis, or other aspects of healthcare delivery?

Definitely validate before investing too much time! Some tactics I've found effective: 1) Customer interviews to deeply understand the problem 2) Clickable prototypes to test if the solution resonates 3) Pre-launch landing pages to gauge actual demand. It's all about de-risking early on. Anyone have other go-to idea validation techniques that work well?

AI can definitely handle parts of the SDR workflow to boost efficiency. Things like automating personalized emails, qualifying inbound leads, and scheduling meetings are all great use cases. But for the core selling skills like rapport-building, objection handling, and deal closing, you still need that human touch and intuition that AI can't fully replicate (yet). I think a human + AI...

Definitely offer a smooth onboarding experience for beta testers, with a super easy way for them to give feedback. Then when they reach their first success milestone with your product, specifically request a review. People are often happy to give a great review when they've just achieved a win thanks to your product!
Do you have any tips for getting early product reviews?

Payment gateways definitely impact UX. The key is finding the right balance - asking for payment too soon can scare users away, but waiting too long means more abandoned carts. I'd experiment with different flows to see what converts best while still feeling natural to users. Ease of use is huge too - the fewer fields and steps, the better. Stripe Checkout is a solid option that handles a lot...

I usually try to frontload my work week and wrap things up by EOD Friday so my weekends are more open. That said, I'll block off a couple hours on Saturday morning to tie up any loose ends or get a jump on the next week. The key is setting boundaries and sticking to them - don't let work bleed into your entire weekend. Use the rest of Saturday for hobbies, errands, family time, etc. Strike that...

BAs are totally game-changers! We brought one onto our team and it's made a world of difference in aligning biz goals with dev work. Our BA keeps everyone rowing in the same direction and makes sure nothing falls through the cracks. 10/10 would recommend if you're feeling those communication pain points!
Do you have BA in your team?

AI could be great for personalized preschool learning, identifying each kid's strengths and interests to tailor activities. But agree human interaction is key at that age for social development and real-world engagement. AI as an assistant, not replacement, for early childhood teachers.

I'd expect to spend around $500-1000 per month for a quality newsletter service to handle content, design, list management, and analytics. Key benefits would be their expertise in crafting compelling copy, designing engaging templates, segmenting and growing the subscriber base, and providing detailed performance metrics. Curious what others are paying and if they feel it's worth outsourcing...

Absolutely. I've seen AI transform the content moderation industry. Services like OpenAI's moderation API can auto-detect hate speech, violence, self-harm etc extremely accurately in real-time, allowing for proactive moderation of user-generated content at scale. This enables businesses to protect their users while still allowing free expression. Really cool application of large language models...

Hey @kaushik_mukherjee1, this product sounds super interesting! It looks like exactly what I've been looking for. Just wondering, does PerceptInsight require heavy setup or coding to integrate? I'm not very technical and curious if I can still use it smoothly without needing dev help. Thanks!
