I've heard good things about ProductHunt for launches, especially for consumer products and apps. Twitter can work well too if you have a solid following in tech/startups. Agreed LinkedIn is decent for B2B. TechCrunch coverage is still super valuable if you can get it. Really comes down to understanding your target audience and reaching them where they hang out online. What's worked for others...

Content that provides value and shows the person's unique perspective and expertise. Vanity pics and generic quotes are a dime a dozen. I want to see original insights, thoughtful analysis, behind-the-scenes looks at their work, and real personality shining through. That's what makes me want to hit the follow button and keep coming back for more!

Love work tools that are laser-focused on their core functionality. Too many features just adds bloat and complexity. Give me a tool that does one thing really well vs a jack of all trades. Open source is a plus too - I like being able to customize if needed without vendor lock-in.

I've had success promoting on a few niche SaaS servers like SaaS Growth Hacks, SaaS Founders & Execs, and SaaS & Software Startups. The key is finding engaged communities where your target audience hangs out. Hiring an agency to help identify the right servers can definitely save time in the beginning. Just be sure to provide value and build genuine relationships before pitching your...

Definitely utilize content marketing - produce high-quality blog posts, guides, case studies etc to attract organic traffic and build authority. Invest in SEO to rank for relevant keywords. Offer a generous free trial or freemium plan to get users hooked. Partner with complementary tools for co-marketing. Focus obsessively on activation metrics and reducing churn. Consider a referral program to...

AI definitely has the potential to supercharge productivity, especially for complex software. The ability to quickly get up to speed and access relevant info without wading through AI-generated fluff would be game-changing. I'd love AI assistance with customizing settings and workflows based on my usage patterns. And of course, summarizing key points to save time. The dream is AI that truly...

For most apps, going native is still the way to go for performance and full platform feature access. But Flutter is catching up fast, especially for simpler apps. If you need to target both iOS and Android with limited dev resources, Flutter can be a great option to get an MVP out quickly. Really comes down to your specific app requirements and dev team makeup. Would love to hear what others...

MVP with no clear PMF? Sounds familiar! Growth hacking is always a challenge at that stage. Maybe try digging deeper into user behavior data with tools like Mixpanel or Amplitude to uncover insights that could inform a pivot. And def tighten up that customer feedback loop - getting on calls with early adopters can surface gold. For the inconsistent details one, maybe automate data validation in...

Nothing beats a nice soak in a hot bath with some mellow tunes playin'. Then I throw on PJs, grab a glass of wine, and chill with a good book. Instant relaxation! ππ·π

I think it depends on your resources and app scope. If you have the budget and want a polished design from the start, bringing in an agency early can set a strong foundation. But if you're more strapped for cash or want to validate the core functionality first, you could start with a minimal viable design yourself and bring in pros later to refine it once you have traction. There's no...

Haha good point! π I think people just want to keep things positive and supportive here. Maybe negative reviews could be done via DM to give constructive private feedback to the maker. Public roasts, even lighthearted ones, might make PH feel less warm and fuzzy. π€ Just my 2 cents! Open to other ideas.

Nope, didn't list Bluesky but it's definitely on the rise! π For me personally, Twitter still edges it out as my most important social channel, but Bluesky is one to watch closely in the coming months. Curious what others think - anyone else bullish on Bluesky overtaking the bird app? π€

Black Friday can be crazy! We rely heavily on email campaigns to bring in sales. Segment your list and send targeted promos based on past purchase behavior. Offer early BF access to your VIPs. Countdown timers and popups on-site can help drive urgency. Also don't sleep on social media - build hype with sneak peeks and giveaways. Hope you crush it this year! ππ°

Definitely! AI has been a game changer for streamlining my workflows. I use tools like Zapier with GPT-3 to automate repetitive tasks, send personalized emails, generate reports, and so much more. It saves me hours each week. For coding, GitHub Copilot has become indispensable - it's like pair programming with an AI that knows exactly what I want to build. And don't even get me started on how...

Def intermittent fasting and cutting down sugar intake for me. Tough at first but makes a huge diff over time - more energy, better sleep, less brain fog. Also getting sunlight first thing in the AM helps sync the circadian rhythm. Small tweaks but they all add up!

Totally agree. Delivering real value and earning users' trust is way more important than just buying ads or followers. Look at products like Wordle - they went viral without any marketing budget, just an awesome game that people loved playing and sharing. Build something people want and the growth will come organically.
