I think it's actually a good solution for giving a brand/product an AI face or persona. I would just make sure that you recognise and openly communicate that it's an AI and that you don't try to sell it as a real person.
Do you support the idea of AI-generated profile photos/AI-generated personalities for business?

We are preparing for our beta launch. β
Tools:
We develop our platform with our platform itself - so we are our own main tool π
I will also use the following a lot
- Gitea
- Miro
- Figma
Feedback: I think it's important to write down your plans and structure them, otherwise you quickly get lost in micro-management. So especially at the beginning of the week I think a discussion/post like...
What are you about this week? + Which 3 tools help you to get things done?

Get it out as soon as possible. Especially in branding, you often lose yourself in wanting to plan everything perfectly. Get it out there and then let your brand grow based on the reaction and feedback.
If you were to start building your brand from 0, what would you be the first thing you would do?

What's the best way to grow a Twitter/X account for my company?
I'm not really on Twitter yet, but especially in the tech space, having a Twitter account seems to be a must for companies.
- Do you think a Twitter account is a must?
- Should I set it up as a company account or through my personal profile?
- Do you have any strategies or tips and tricks on how to grow on Twitter?

For me, YouTube and Instagram comments/reels/shorts have become the worst. π«
LinkedIn is still OK for me. But that is changing more and more.
Hacker News isn't that affected yet either, but that's not a interesting platform for everybody because it is very industry-specific.

Do you reply to comments/messages that have obviously been written by ChatGPT?
By now, most people have developed a feeling for when someone has written a text on ChatGPT and I for one don't want to respond or answer because I have the feeling that the writer hasn't put any thought into it. On the other hand, you don't want to be rude - how do you deal with that?

I like to be inspired by the stories of other founders and to learn from both successful and unsuccessful stories. I also find the interaction with others in my industry and with potential target groups very valuable.
Other than that, of course:
- Startup/technology newsletters and podcasts
- Articles on Crunchbase, Medium, etc.
- HackerNews, Reddit (sometimes) and of course Product Hunt
And...
What are the best resources for startup founders?

There is a great article by Krissy Davis on WeAreDevelopers "How to Tell if Something Was Written by ChatGPT"
The main points for me:
- Keywords like: βcutting-edge softwareβ or "ever-evolving landscape"
- Unusually formal tone in text that's meant to be conversational or casual
- A remarkable absence of meaning in the comment π§

Question to the developers: What are your top 3 newsletters?
My top 3 are always changing but I am looking for new newsletters especially in the area of software development / software development with AI and where the latest tools and trends are shared.

I think it depends on the target group and the product. With health insurance, as a customer I want seriousness, but when it comes to advertising for clothes, good sarcasm and irony can make you stand out.
I also think that video content is well suited for this, as this is where irony is best displayed and it is easier to notice in a video than in a written text.
Is a sarcastic tone of voice friendly to business? Would you personally use it?

Thank you, that's very helpful! Do you think it makes sense to appear at as many as possible or should the selection be limited to just the most suitable ones?

What tools do you use to collect, organise and evaluate your customer feedback?
We have looked around a bit and so far usersnap is my favourite. Does anyone have experience with it or does anyone know better tools?
