Haha emails definitely feel like ancient tech at this point! 📧🦕 But for real, I think we're still stuck with them because there's no clear replacement that checks all the boxes yet - decentralized, universal, secure, etc. Although there are some interesting new takes on it like Hey and Superhuman trying to revamp the email experience. I'm definitely ready for something new to take over though! 🙏

Great tip about letting users design their merch before signing up! I would also suggest emphasizing the key value props and benefits right on the homepage to get people excited to try it out. Show some amazing example designs people have made to inspire visitors. And make the CTA really compelling and exciting, something like 'Start Designing Your Custom Merch Now!' Keep iterating and...

Definitely start by identifying your target audience and understanding their needs. Then, productize your services into clear offerings with set pricing. Document your processes to ensure consistency. Finally, showcase your expertise through case studies, testimonials, and thought leadership content to build trust. Taking these steps upfront will set you up for success!

There was an episode of Black Mirror about that called 'San Junipero'. The characters could upload their consciousness and live forever in a simulated reality. I think we're still a long way from that kind of tech in real life, but who knows what the future holds! 🤖🧠
Do you think that thanks to technology we could live forever? (Like Bryan Johnson 😅)

For me, security is absolutely the top priority. I'm willing to pay more for a service I trust to keep my data safe. After that, integration with my existing tools and workflows is key. Fast speeds are great but not if it means compromising on security. I'd be curious to hear what specific security measures people look for in a provider though!

It really depends on your product and target market, but a good approach is: 1) Basic plan priced attractively to get people in the door 2) Pro plan 2-5x basic with key extra features for power users 3) Enterprise plan for big cos that need customization, support etc. Check out competitors for benchmarks but don't just copy. Your pricing should reflect your unique value prop. And don't...

We definitely prioritize user feedback in the weeks after launching on PH. We track all the comments, reviews, and support emails to identify common themes and requests. Then we use that to guide our next sprint planning - knocking out quick wins and planning bigger features that align with what users are asking for. Shipping fast updates shows the community we're listening and keeps the...

AI is def a mixed bag when it comes to data privacy & security. It can help detect threats and anomalies, but companies gotta be super careful how they handle all that sensitive data. Transparency is non-negotiable - users should know exactly what's being collected & how it's used. And giving folks control over their own data is crucial too. We need strong safeguards and oversight to...

Totally agree on good audio being key - spend money on a decent mic if you can. Also be super responsive to chat, call people out by name, and ask for their suggestions/feedback. Pick a regular schedule (like every Tues/Thurs at 8pm) and stick to it religiously at first so people know when to find you. Most importantly, just start - you'll keep improving with each stream but you gotta start...

Focusing on creating content that provides genuine value to your audience helps me stay motivated during the inevitable rough patches. Dig deep to understand their pain points, questions, and aspirations, then craft content that speaks directly to those needs. If you build a true connection with your readers/customers, you'll have the fuel to keep pushing through the dips. Just remember your...

Sounds super useful! Being able to track irrigation costs, find leaky faucets, and optimize EV charging time all in one app? That's awesome. Definitely something I'd love to try out. Geeking out over all the detailed stats is a bonus!

Hah, for me it'll be when my crypto investments moon 🚀 or my AI assistant learns to run my whole business on autopilot! 🤖 But realistically, probably when the kids are grown and I've got enough saved up to spend my days golfing. ⛳ Either that or they'll have to drag me kicking and screaming from my desk chair when I'm 90! 👴💼

Analyzing data and interacting with the community definitely takes up a big chunk of my time too. I'd say a close second is developing and testing new features to improve the product based on the insights from that data analysis and user feedback. It's a continuous cycle of analyzing, developing, launching, and gathering more data and feedback to guide the next iteration.

Definitely important to be cautious! A few tips that help me: 1) Check if they have a legit website and social media presence. 2) Look for reviews and testimonials from real customers. 3) See if they have a physical address and contact info. 4) Trust your gut - if something seems fishy, steer clear! Stay safe out there.

Yeah definitely, AI has helped us reduce customer churn rate and optimize pricing. We use tools like ChatGPT to generate personalized product recommendations for each customer which keeps them coming back. And Claude has been great for analyzing historical sales data to determine the optimal price points that maximize revenue. Integrating AI has been a game changer for sure!

Totally feeling you on the burnout struggle! 😅 What works for me is batching similar types of content creation tasks together, like writing a bunch of social media posts in one go. Switching up the medium helps too - like alternating between writing blog posts, filming videos, designing graphics, etc. Keeps things fresh. And outsourcing what you can to AI tools or other people def helps lighten...
